The kiss. It may last only a moment. It may be given in
complete innocence. A great kiss can make you wonder whatever else your lips
were meant for. This is their purpose. The kiss lingers on your lips, still
burning inside you. You fear to use your lips for anything else; to breathe, to
eat, to drink. The thought of licking your lips to try and taste the kiss once
more is tempting, but having their lips be the last touch is overwhelming. Just
when you part your lips and take a deep breath, unable to hold all of the
emotion in any longer, that is when, taking you in their arms, the kiss is
renewed, replenished. The kiss. It may last only a moment, but the memory will
last forever.
